DIRCO said that the necessary procedures for their safe passage and return to South Africa are progressing steadily.
The Global Sumud Flotilla said that, before illegally intercepting the ships, it appears as though the Israeli naval vessels intentionally damaged ship communications.
Activists, including Greta Thunberg and Nelson Mandela’s grandson Mandla Mandela, are aboard some of the Global Sumud Flotilla vessels.
